Iran signs accord on unification of trade standards with Russia
MOSCOW, Aug 31 (PRIME) -- Iran and Russia have signed an accord on five-year cooperation in unification of standards of imports, the Iranian embassy in Russia said in a statement late on Wednesday.
“The Iranian and the Russian sides have signed a document on five-year cooperation of the two countries in the sphere of standardization … The document includes a cooperation roadmap for Iranian and Russian total exports and imports from Russia to Iran, including non-industrial goods and halal foods,” the statement read.
The countries also exchanged the list of priority goods to draft a unified standard and to simplify trade.
